A black rose is the ideal candidate. A black rose for this role is an engaging copywrite with a proven track record of writing content that produces traction & revenue. They’re master researchers and are experts at quickly deciphering brands and form attributes if success on a per-brand basis.

Must-Haves (Non-negotiables): 

• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field
• Strong editorial, proofreading, and writing skills
• Experience with keyword search and  SEO copywriting best practices

ROLE DESCRIPTION

• Write compelling content for print, web, product packaging, advertising, and marketing materials
• Produce well-written content that is SEO friendly and optimized for conversion
• Create compelling ad copy, landing pages, and marketing campaigns
• Write high-quality product descriptions and provide supporting content
• Work with analysts to ensure messaging is consistent across the company
• Define key messages and brand voice for external communications
• Interpret creative briefs to develop concepts for execution with assigned brands
• Research and understand a client’s needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject-matter experts, and in-person meetings
• Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials
• Collaborate with a team of account managers and creative staff, from concept development to delivery of final product
• Revise copy based on internal and client feedback

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field
• Strong editorial, proofreading, and writing skills
• Experience with keyword search and  SEO copywriting best practices
• Experience with social media and content marketing
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
• Passion for writing with an excellent portfolio of work
• Experience with content management systems
• Keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
